What Wasn't Lost, Was Found

Today, I called my husband at work to ask him a question. His secretary answered.

Me: "Hi Kath! Could I speak with Robert, please?"

Kath: "Hi Chris! No, he's out looking for marbles."

Me: "What? He's lost his marbles?"

Kath: (chuckling) "Yes, that's what he said!"

Me: "WELL! This certainly explains a lot!"

I'm still grinning about it.

To my relief, I did later discover that he was looking for flat marbles for a project. He managed to find some. His weren't lost at all! Whew! :)

Flat marbles are peaceful. I don't know why I feel that way, but they are.

Actually, I completely get that. It's the same way river rocks are peaceful. To me, anyway.

What a relief that they were never lost in the first place. That might be cause for concern! :D
