Just a moment ago, I was trying to take a snapshot of my new haircut with my iSight computer camera.
My husband walked by and commented, "Wow! That picture sure makes your eyes look blue."
BLUE?
My eyes are NOT BLUE!
We're gonna have to have a little chat.... A chat in which I say, "Repeat after me, my wife's eyes are GREEN." Really. Not even CLOSE to blue.

Yes. See the gold? See the green? My eyes are HAYYYYYZELLLLLL. Don't start in on "brown", because that would be wrong.

My eyes are almost the same color as Rob's. Wouldn't you think he could remember? Or, you know, LOOK? Maybe he just got confused because 2 of our kids have blue eyes. I'm pretty sure he meant it to be a compliment.
Actually, his comment isn't so bad when I remember this story... when I got my first driver's license, my mom was helping me fill out forms and said my eyes were GRAY. Now, HER eyes are gray, not mine! So, my driver's license said I had GRAY eyes for YEARS. :)

I think the only time my hubby ever commented on my eyes was when he said "Ohhh, your eyes are red", after 6 hours of giving birth to our last daughter.
He had a lot of explaining to do when I got home.:)
